I decided to switch from wordpress to movable type because wp can't let me have multiple blogs. MT also seems to offer greater control over the blog, anyway, I just feel like mt is better for private blogging.
Muse is going be a place where I post purely random stuff, my musing on the world, thing I found on the web, and etc.
Notes on installation:
I must admit the installation document confused me a little bit on where to upload those files, and there were also some other confusions over the settings, the process wasn't very smooth and took longer than I thought, not because of connection speed of course. After getting the installation page to work, I gave up trying to understand the installation guide from mt and relied on my instincts, then everything went smoothly. I used MySQL database.
What confused me most is the path, I thought I couldn't change the path(or folder in which has all posts), so I renamed a folder. Turned out that mt will create another folder(you can name it) under root directory and store all posts in it, so basically I worried too much and was creating trouble for myself.
After setting up the blog, the settings again confused for a while, I'm still trying to figure them out now. So far so good, mt's user interface is ok, however, I like the fact that I no longer have to bear with those wordpress news anymore.
