Jeremy Laing is a Canadian fashion designer who apprenticed with Alexander McQueen. His Fall/Winter collection this year brought some fresh looks to my eyes. I like how he constructed the clothing with just enough amount of details, he used pattern sparingly, and he paid much attention to the back as well as the front.

It is surprises me when I looked at these "old" magazines, finding them so inspiring. Some of them don't even look "old". The above advertisements are from 1930, 1942 and 1957. For full view of L'officiel magazine from 1920 to 2000, click here.
